The Official Tribute to Bobby Womack: Players Ball 2026 brings Bobby Womack’s unmistakable songbook to the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts, led by Memphis soul veteran Stacey Merino, who toured with Womack for 25 years, and featuring Memphis R&B/soul performer Courtney Little.
From “If You Think You’re Lonely Now” and “Woman’s Gotta Have It” to “Across 110th Street” and “That’s the Way I Feel About Cha,” the night celebrates the songs, stories and soul that made Womack one of R&B’s most distinctive voices.
With Stacey’s firsthand connection to Womack and Courtney’s deep roots in Memphis soul and live performance, Players Ball is more than a standard tribute. It’s an evening built around classic songs, powerful vocals and the timeless soul of Bobby Womack.
