To watch Stella Cole perform is to be transported back in time. Between her infectious sense of wonder and joy and her irresistible charm, Cole possesses a magnetic ability to expose fans of all ages to the marvels of the Great American Songbook through fresh reinterpretations. With an uncanny ability to transcend generations, Cole effortlessly emulates the timeless stylings of artists like Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Rosemary Clooney, Meredith Wilson, Nat “King” Cole, James Taylor, and many more.

Born in a small town in Illinois in 1999, Cole came by her repertoire naturally by watching old movie musicals on VHS. Gradually, Cole absorbed the entire canon of classic Hollywood musicals like The Wizard of Oz, Singin’ in the Rain, Meet Me in St. Louis, Mary Poppins, and The Sound of Music

In 2020, Cole found a way not only to thrive but to launch her music career at a moment when most performers were struggling. By posting videos of herself singing across social media platforms, Cole quickly attracted millions of views, and her undeniable talent and sensational voice set her apart from the masses, resulting in resounding success.

After graduating from Northwestern University in 2021 with degrees in Theater and International Relations, Cole moved to New York City, where she soon took the stage at notable venues like Birdland, Café Carlyle, and Carnegie Hall.

In 2024, Cole released her debut, self-titled album, which showcases a mixture of familiar ballads and obscure tunes with strings and winds and uptempo numbers. The following year, Cole released It’s Magic, which features timeless love songs like “Till There Was You,” “Stairway to the Stars,” and “Fools Rush In.” Her most recent album, Live at Café Carlyle, is out now.
